Getting to and from Béduer
We know that travel logistics can be stressful, especially if you’ve never been to your destination before. Thankfully, you don’t need to figure out how to get to and from camp all on your own — we can do it together!
The most important part is to know where camp is and how to contact us on your travel day if needed.

Getting to France
TIP: Book any flights 3-6 months before your camp arrival date to secure the best available price.
Booking flights can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. To get to France, we recommend finding your flight through a price comparison website like Kayak or Skyscanner. Those websites make it easy to compare prices across airlines and choose the best one that works for you. Book your flight directly with the airline you choose, not through a third party website.
The two most popular airports campers fly into are Paris and Toulouse. There are other cities you could fly into internationally (Barcelona, Amsterdam, and London have a wide variety of international flights), but landing at Paris or Toulouse offers the simplest connections to camp.
If you fly into Paris
You have two cities to travel to if you’re taking a train from Paris to camp. Either take a train to Toulouse, which is a 4.5-7.5 hour journey, or a train to the local town nearby, Figeac, which is a 6-8 hour journey.
Your train journey will likely be broken up into multiple train rides, and you might have to make changes along your journey so just make sure you’re paying attention when you book your ticket.
You can cut down your travel time from Toulouse by booking (at an extra cost) a shuttle from the Toulouse Airport to Beduer. Booking a transfer shuttle can be done through your booking portal.
Please note: The shuttle from Toulouse to Béduer is a paid service and not included in the cost of camp. The ride from Toulouse to camp lasts about two hours.
If you fly into Toulouse
Once in Toulouse, there are two popular journeys to the camp:
The first is to book a shuttle with us that will take you from Toulouse Airport directly to the doors of the château (at an extra cost). The ride lasts about two hours.
The second is to book a train from Toulouse Train Station to the local town of Figeac, which is approximately a 2.5-5.5 hour journey, and then we will pick you up from the Figeac train station and take you to the château (for free). After arriving at Toulouse Airport, you’ll need to take a city shuttle (Navette) or a cab to the train station.
Tips for train travel
If you decide to take a train for the rest of your journey to camp, then Trainline is a great site that, again, lets you compare prices across different trains to book the one that suits you best.
Check layover times between trains to make sure you have time to change platforms
Arrive at least 10 minutes before your train’s departure time
Track your stops with Trainline or SNCF app
Grab a snack from the train station to enjoy on your scenic ride
Book transfer shuttles to/from Figeac train station in your booking portal
NOTE: The shuttle from Toulouse to Béduer is a paid service and not included in the cost of camp. The ride from Toulouse to camp lasts about two hours.

Necessary travel documents
Check your passport’s expiration date!
Before arriving in France, make sure that your passport is fully up to date. This means that the expiration date on your passport is more than three months after your intended departure date from France.
For example, if you have a departure flight to leave France after camp on May 31st, 2026, then your passport must be valid at least until August 31st, 2026.
For some countries, it is more, and you are required to have 6 months or even 1 year of extra time before your passport expires.
Check your travel requirements before planning your trip

Travel insurance
Traveling internationally? = Be insured
Yes! We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance before any trip abroad.
There are many companies out there that provide excellent travel insurance coverage for trips, and we suggest exploring options to find a travel insurance provider that works for you.
TIP: Some banks provide access to travel insurance at a cheaper cost, so you might already be eligible for affordable coverage through your bank or credit card provider.
Coverage looks different for each company and depends on what you choose for yourself, but it's worth it when travelling internationally
