    • Campers reserve a spot with a 30% deposit (€675) at checkout.

    • The remaining 70% balance is due 90 days before your session. We will email an invoice for the remainder at least 1-2 months before it is due.

  • For easy group bookings, you have two options:

    1. One person books for multiple people on the website and fills out the information for each member of your group. Other members pay that person back for paying the deposits. Pros: you know that everyone gets in, Cons: One person is doing and paying for it.

    2. Each person books. If anyone doesn't get into the desired session, please sign up for a different session and contact us to be put on the "to change" and hopefully as people ask to move around or maybe cancel, we can put you together with your group. Pros: everyone pays for themselves. Cons: someone might need to be on a "to change list".

Groups with 6 or more total can get 10% off using code: GROUP10. If the group falls to below 6 before the time invoices are due, we will ask you to pay full price on the final invoice.

  • We do our best to honor all bunkmate requests and usually are able to meet all requests. The final room assignments are made shortly before camp and you will get your room assignment when you check in.

If you selected Bunkroom or Glamping tent (only Béduer has glamping), that room type is reserved for you. If you would like to change sessions or room type, please contact info@campchateau.com.

  • Yes! And many do. In 2024, more than 1 in every 3 campers were solo travelers.

We try our best to ensure there is never a solo traveler alone in a bunk with a group. So far we have been able to provide this every session, but it of course depends on the size of the groups.

Not all groups are big groups. Solo travelers plus people coming in pairs made up over 50% of bookings in 2024.

Also - Check out Pocket Château! Our Solo Travel club on Pocket is full of supportive women who have made the journey for the first time themselves.
