2026 at Camon — Château, cottage and cabins!

For the first time ever, L'Abbaye-Château de Camon is open for Camp Château and is eager to welcome you.

Camp Château at Camon in 2026 will be an inaugural year, and the camp vibes will be as magical as ever. This year, there are three different types of sleeping accommodation, but every camper still gets access to a shared room in the château!

While we received very late notice from the French historical monuments authority that we can only have a limited number of guests staying overnight in the main château building this year, we've unlocked an opportunity to make the most of the grounds and local area.

On-site and Off-site Accommodation this year only

We have two beautiful on-site options and one wonderful off-site option, and no matter where you sleep, your days at Camp Château are identical. Every camper shares the same electives, meals, grounds, and community from morning to night.

Here is the full picture for sleeping arrangements:

  1. On-site: Château bunks — the main building, just as you imagined. Limited overnight guests*, en-suite bathroom.

  2. On-site: The Cottage — a spacious and historic gatehouse right inside the château gates, steps from the main door. Limited campers* across 3 large bunkrooms, each with a designated bathroom inside the cottage. Comes with a cottage badge!

  3. Off-site: The Cabins Domaine de la Besse cabins: a 4-star campground 4 minutes away (free shuttles every morning and evening). Idyllic farm setting, mountain views, plus a limited edition badge. All cabins have bathroom facilities inside.*

*On-site options sleep 3–6 people per bunkroom, while the cabin bunks sleep 3-5 per cabin with a maximum of 2 people per bedroom. Each bunk option has one shared bathroom with shower and toilet facilities.

If you booked before April…

We're very happy to confirm that we've been able to accommodate campers' preferences for on-site or off-site accommodations! Check your inbox for an email from camon@campchateau.com .

Cabin Life — special for 2026 only!

If I'm staying in a cabin off-site, what happens during the day?

You will be assigned a shared en-suite day-bunk room inside the château! It is yours to use for napping, showering, gathering, getting ready for apéro, stashing your swimsuit, or anything else your heart desires. You are fully part of château life from breakfast to bedtime shuttle!

How do I know if I'm in the château, cottage, or cabins?

Did you book before April and complete the Camon Accommodation Survey? You will have received an Accommodation email from camon@campchateau.com on April 23rd confirming that we were able to accommodate your stated preference. Beyond that, you can look forward to your bunk assignment at check-in!

Did you book the exclusive cabins? At check-in (at the château), you will be shown to your château daybunk and then shuttled to your cabin to drop your luggage there.

Wait, I really want to bunk in a cabin!

If you want to make sure that you get assigned to a cabin bunk, then please email camon@campchateau.com

I booked as part of a group. Will we stay together?

Bunk groups stay together as long as they request each other as bunkmates in their online customer portal. If you need help accessing your customer portal, click here.

I really want to guarantee that I sleep in the château. What are my options?

We have availability in Béduer 2026/2027 and Camon 2027 which guarantee that you will be sleeping inside a château.

If you would like to move your booking, contact camon@campchateau.com and we are happy to assist! Please be aware that from April 30th our usual refund policy will be back in place (you may get a refund if you cancel 90 days before your session at the latest).
