October ‘22 Autumn Clean Up

Hello from the grounds of Château de Béduer,

I am so lucky to be staying here again this week as I meet with our new property manager team and continue to prep the rooms for next year’s camp season.

Autumn is such an amazing time of year to be in the Quercy Valley - there is a chill in the air and wood stores are being gathered ready for the winter. Our groundsman, Vincent, is tidying up the orchard, gathering up the walnuts in the walnut grove, putting the lemon and lime tree pots under cover to protect them from the frost and closing up our three pools for the season.

We have been walking the grounds together, planning future expansions of the gardens and deciding where to plant the lavender, herbs and vegetables that will feature in our camp activities next summer. We have also been discussing how best to plant barley on the main hill so that we can start to prepare that soil for a vineyard.

The sunrises and sunsets continue to amaze me, and the crisp autumn air is giving us glorious valley views in the day and astonishing night skies each night.

I am delighted to share that we have added a new full-bunk special for those of you who are planning to come next summer with a group of friends. If you gather a group of 6 or more friends for a session, you can book a whole bunk for your group with a 10% discount!

Do you have a group of friends who love camping in tents? We have also added a new option for you to book glamping tents for a group of 6 or more with the same wonderful 10% discount!

You only need to pay the deposit now to hold a place for your group at the special rate.

Of course, a single bed in one of our bunk rooms or glamping tents is also wonderful way for you to invest in yourself and meet wonderful women.

I cannot wait to share this magical place with all of you!

Cordialement,

Philippa Girling, CEO
