What is included?

What is not included?

  • On-site massages are not included in the price

  • 2024 is 2178€ total. Please reserve your spot with a 30% deposit (€653.4 ) at checkout.

  • 2025 Early Bird Price is 2250€ total. Please reserve your spot with a 30% deposit (€675) at checkout.

  • Everything is fully refundable up to 90 days before your session. The remaining balance is due 90 days before your session. We will contact you for the remainder of the payment after we confirm your order.

    • Groups of 6 or more get 10% off! Use code GROUP10 at check-out & name your bunkmates in the form.

Accommodation Options

  • All bunk rooms hold 6 or 8 single beds. Guests from multiple parties may stay in the same room based on party size and room availability. All Château rooms come with an en-suite bathroom (adorned with Portuguese tile).

    Parties of 6 or 8 will be assigned to a private room on a first come first served basis.

    Campers are not guaranteed the specific room option in the image above, but they are all gorgeous.

  • Craving the sound of nature? Try Glamping!

    All Glamping Tents hold 2 twin beds. Glamping tents have access to the pool house bathrooms and showers nearby on the grounds.

    There are only 5 glamping tents, so parties hoping to stay together in glamping tents should not exceed more than 10.

    The photo above is indicative of the tents we will be adopting.

Travel Ideas

  • Public transportation all the way!

    • Tuesday morning arrive at a major European airport, we recommend Toulouse

    • Tuesday lunchtime book a Train to Assier, Capdenac, or Figeac

    • Tuesday around 3 PM Get a free shuttle pick up to the castle’s gates!

    If you pick this option, let us know 3 weeks before arrival and we will organize the pick-up times.

    Resource: We recommend using www.thetrainline.com to view connections.

  • Go in on a rental car with your bunkmates for the week for an extra bit of freedom and scenery!

    • Tuesday AM Arrive at a major European airport (Paris, Barcelona)

    • Rent a car (do you drive stick? if not, make sure you request automatic ahead of time)

    • Avoid highways and drive amidst the gorgeous scenery to Beduer, France (5.5-7.5 hrs depending on route options)

    • Arrive Tuesday 3 pm

    Resource: We recommend using Expedia to bundle your flight & car and save!

  • See as much as you can!

    • Sunday Arrive at a major European city like Paris or Barcelona

    • Sunday-Monday Explore the city!

    • Tuesday AM Fly to Toulouse or Rodez Airport.

    • Tuesday lunchtime split the fare with other campers for a shuttle directly to the castle gates!

    If you pick this option, let us know 3 weeks before arrival and we will organize the pick-up times.

Once you book you can join our private Facebook group to plan your travels with other campers!

Program

  • 3-6 pm REGISTRATION | Check in, get settled, and tour the grounds.

    6 pm BUNK MEETING | Meet your counselors, and fellow bunkmates and get into the camp spirit!

    7 pm APERITIFS | Head to the Upper Terrace for panoramic views of the region and before dinner cocktails.

    8 pm DINNER | Enjoy a French country dinner of fresh, regional ingredients by local chefs, served in the Grand Hall.

    9:30 pm OPENING CEREMONY | Join us for the Camp Château opening night ceremony under the stars.

  • OPTIONAL SUNRISE YOGA | Welcome the day from one of the many beautiful vistas on the grounds.

    BREAKFAST | Head to the Lower Terrace for croissants, baguettes, fruits, and coffee to start your day.

    9:30 am ELECTIVE 1 | Pick from options spanning wellness, art, sport, food and drink, self-care, French experience programs, pool, or personal time. You can also join an off-site activity and be back by lunch!

    11 am ELECTIVE 2 | Select your second elective of the day or opt into free time.

    12:30 pm PICNIC LUNCH | Gather your bunk’s lunch picnic basket and blanket (wine included) and post up wherever you please anywhere on the 20 acres of grounds.

    2 pm ELECTIVE 3 | Select your third and final elective of the day or opt into free time. There are also afternoon excursions off-site.

    3:30 pm GROUP ACTIVITY | Camp activities to break the ice, welcome your inner child and get to know your castle mates.

    7 pm APERITIF | Enjoy before-dinner drinks with live music on the Upper Terrace.

    8 pm DINNER | Rejoin in the Grand Hall for a French country dinner prepared by local chefs.

    EVENING COMMUNITY | Nightly activities that build rejuvenation and joy, like meditation, music, movie nights, campfire talks, etc.

  • OPTIONAL SUNRISE YOGA | A bittersweet farewell to the stunning views!

    8 am BREAKFAST | Head to the Lower Terrace for a big breakfast before your day of travel.

    9:30 am ALL-CAMP FAREWELL CEREMONY | Celebrate your fellow campers and show off all the activity badges you’ve earned.

    11 am CHECK OUT | It’s not goodbye, it’s a see-you-next-year.

  • Every morning breakfast is available from 8:00-9:30. We will provide a selection of fresh baked goods from the local bakery with jams, fruits, spreads, and more. Coffee and tea are also available.

    For lunch, every bunk is provided a picnic basket with traditional cheeses, small treats, and local fresh produce to enjoy a picnic together. Wine is included.

    Traditional French dinners are prepared by our talented Chef. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free alternatives are available upon request.

    Please let us know if you have specific dietary requirements when you check-out.

  • Head to our Who and Why page for up-to-date introductions on the newest staff members at Camp Château!

  • Included on-site: one full bathroom per bunkroom, usb charging stations, hair dryers, wifi in the common area, additional shower facilities, daily housekeeping, iron, storage, parking, working fireplaces, and more.

  • For specific diets, we ask that you inform us ahead of time of your dietary restrictions so that our cooks may find fresh and plentiful options for you throughout your stay or make any necessary adjustments.

    All areas on the first floor of the castle are accessible by wheelchair, as well as nearly all parts of the grounds. The second and third floors of the castle are accessible only by stairs. Restrooms and sleeping accommodations are available on the first floor.
